The Journal of Israeli Medical Students (JIMS) by MinDset is an international medical journal based in Israel. It offers a superior pre-print platform for medical and dental students from around the world to publish their work and share their ideas. The Journal aims to cultivate an international community of researchers, innovators, thought-leaders, and policy-makers within the next generation of physicians.
JIMS uses best-practices and standards of scientific publication. It provides students, clinicians and researchers a pre-print platform to share their findings. JIMS aims to promote wide-ranging discussions in healthcare and medicine while encouraging students to get involved in research, gain experiance and get feedback in scientific writing. To that end, it is our vision to continually expand the breadth of high-quality contributions we publish. The Journal will consider original research, editorials, academic reviews, case reports, feature articles, and other relevant items.
JIMS is published bi-annually. Articles considered for publication will undergo review by an editorial team of students which is suprevised by medical and scientific experts. We are committed to an open-access platform. The Journal is endorsed by the Israeli Medical Association (IMA), The National Academy of Medical Science and the Israel Medical School Association.

JIMS welcome all original research articles, case reports, and literature review columns. In case you would like to comment on previously published content, please submit a ‘Letter to the Editor'. The journal of Israeli Medical Student publishes educational content assigned to our Editorial Board members in advance. We also accept open submissions for other types of columns in our JIMS Guidelines, such as ‘Research Spotlight’. If you would like to submit your paper in one of these categories (or another one), please read our Submission Manual before submitting your manuscript to JIMS.
