"It opened up a whole new world for me and gave me tools for a process that once felt overwhelming."

"In my opinion, this should be an elective course at the university, if not a mandatory one - we will all have to do this without exception."

"No substitute for this course - med school doesn’t teach this, and it’s free."

"I always avoided academic writing because it felt overwhelming. This course broke it down step-by-step and made it doable."

"It’s so relevant to our future - I can’t believe we don’t learn this in medical school."
As part of MinDset’s Career Month, we’re moving on to the next step!
In this special follow-up webinar, we’ll dive into the practical side of building a medical career pathway: how to make the right decisions along the way, how to build professional visibility and influence, and what really stands behind promotion, academic appointments, and leadership roles.
The webinar will be delivered by Prof. Amit Segev – Head of the Cardiology Division at Sheba Medical Center (Tel HaShomer), outgoing President of the Israel Heart Society, and Chair of the Appointments Committee at the Gray Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University.
Designed for medical students, this session will offer a glimpse from the perspective of someone who leads both a clinical and academic system: what to focus on already at this stage, where it’s worth investing your energy to build a strong foundation, how to pursue real excellence over time: in the clinic, in research, and in personal development, and how to become students and physicians who create value, presence, and impact.
We’ll also touch on key considerations when choosing professional directions: what’s worth taking into account, what shouldn’t be driving the decision, and how to think ahead wisely without locking yourself in too early.
