Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

You’ll oversee all aspects of marketing, including brand positioning, digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and public relations. You’ll develop and execute marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, build visibility, engagement, and trust— and lead our international community. You’ll turn student work into stories and stories into global connections.

MinDset is the international center for innovation, leadership, and research for Israeli medical students—built by students, for students. Our mission is to equip participants with the skills to drive meaningful changes in healthcare. MinDset also proudly publishes the Journal of Israeli Medical Students (JIMS), showcasing groundbreaking research and promoting academic excellence.

What you’ll do:

• Strategy & vision: Develop clear positioning and a channel plan (social, PR, newsletter) aligned to OKRs.

• Brand & digital: Oversee content, social, email, and PR; manage calendars, launches, and proof.

• Market research: Track trends, segments, and performance; test and optimize campaigns.

• Run channels (LinkedIn/IG/X/FB) and the newsletter; keep a simple content calendar and clear voice.

• Launch communications for journal issues, Academy releases, and events; track reach, signups, and attendance.

• Recruit and support Abroad Ambassadors; help secure exchange MoUs; run mentorship matching; collect success stories.

• Localize communications and represent MinDset at student gatherings abroad.

• Collaboration: Partner with CEO/COO/CDO on partners and events; with CPO/CTO on sites and assets.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current MD/DMD (or combined) with ≥2 academic years remaining.

• Fluent English; strong organizer with a data-driven, problem-solving mindset.

• Strategic Thinking: Developing and executing effective social media plans.

• Content Creation: Writing, designing, and producing engaging posts.

• Analytics: Using data to track performance, understand audience behavior, and refine strategies.

• Community Management: Engaging with followers, responding to comments, and building brand loyalty.

• Platform Proficiency: Expertise in various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and their advertising tools.

It will be awesome if you have:

• Major advantage: hands-on AI design/video tools experience.

• Illustrator/Photoshop/Canva; PR/media outreach; additional languages; basic email tools (Mailchimp/SendGrid).
