You are invited to take part in the “Your Jumpstart to Residency” sessions by MinDset, in collaboration with Dr. Reut Shoham — an organizational psychologist and head of the Career Counseling Unit at the Sheba Teaching Authority.

The webinar will be delivered by Dr. Reut Shoham and will focus on the qualities and advantages that department heads look for in students or young doctors when selecting candidates for residency.
We will also discuss actions and steps you can take during your clinical years to promote yourself and improve your chances of being accepted for residency. The session will also cover how to choose a department for residency and smart steps to help you move toward the right choice.

The first meeting will be led by Dr. Reut Shoham and will focus on the psychological and emotional processes involved in acceptance to residency programs, as well as practical tools for dealing with interviews and stressful situations.
We will discuss effective actions that can already be taken during medical school to improve chances of acceptance to residency, while also addressing ways to cope with the uncertainty and challenges inherent in this stage, without neglecting well-being and mental balance.
