For the first time in Israel – Clinical Olympics for Medical Students. The place for pre-clinical and clinical med students to showcase their skills.
Registration is open until May 17th, hurry up and apply!
MinDset fosters leadership, innovation, and excellence among future medical professionals through workshops, courses, and conferences. Our mission is to equip participants with the skills to drive meaningful changes in healthcare. MinDset also proudly publishes the Journal of Israeli Medical Students (JIMS), showcasing groundbreaking research and promoting academic excellence.
Step into the arena for MedIQ, the first Olympics-style clinical competition for medical students in Israel. Hosted by MinDset in collaboration with the Israeli Medical Association and top-tier medical faculties, MedIQ brings together the world’s most talented medical students to go head-to-head in a rigorous display of skill, speed, and knowledge.
As the premier national skills competition for medical students, MedIQ fosters a spirit of healthy rivalry and excellence, uniting the next generation of healthcare leaders through shared challenges.
Be part of the legacy. Represent your institution, sharpen your clinical instincts, and compete for the gold at MedIQ 2026. Together, we are setting a new standard for clinical mastery in global medicine.
Showcase your clinical talents in one (or more) of the 9 events taking place at the MedIQ. All of the competitive events are open to all medical students, ready? MinDset, GO!
Teams must demonstrate rapid triage and resource management to stabilize and prioritize patients in a simulated large-scale disaster scenario.
This event tests tactile precision and technical proficiency through tasks such as IV insertion, and different stitching techniques that require a steady, expert hand.
Competitors are judged on their technical mastery of surgical techniques using laparoscopic surgical tools.
Students face a high-pressure identification challenge, pinpointing complex structures and spatial relationships on anatomical models, and different imaging tools.
Participants must execute rapid-fire diagnostic and life-saving interventions for acute patient presentations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
A quick-recall buzzer round that challenges the team’s knowledge across diverse medical specialties, history, and rare pathologies.
Competitors must adapt their diagnostic and treatment plans in real-time as a patient’s clinical status shifts and new laboratory data becomes available.
This event measures scientific literacy and communication by requiring students to synthesize complex data into a clear, concise, and impactful research summary.
A specialized challenge where students must instantly link classic clinical findings or physical “tells” to their specific, definitive diagnoses.
