MD Next Generation marked a historic milestone as the first international conference in Israel dedicated exclusively to medical students studying in Israel and abroad. Organized by MinDset, the conference brought together over 750 registered participants and more than 800 attendees, both onsite and online.
The event was designed to advance research, medical innovation, social leadership, entrepreneurship, and international collaboration among the next generation of Israeli physicians. It was held with the support of the Israeli Medical Association (IMA), the National Academy of Sciences in Medicine, the Forum of Medical School Deans in Israel, and leading healthcare institutions and foundations.
MD Next Generation was conceived as a first-of-its-kind scientific and leadership platform dedicated to thousands of Israeli medical students worldwide. The conference created a direct dialogue between students and senior figures in healthcare, academia, biotechnology, public policy, and global medicine.
By combining scientific excellence, policy discussions, entrepreneurship, and networking, the conference aimed to shape the professional future of Israel’s upcoming physician generation.

By integrating scientific research, policy discourse, entrepreneurship, and international networking, the conference redefined what a medical student event can be in Israel. It set a new benchmark for student-led academic excellence and positioned Israeli medical students at the center of the country’s healthcare future.
This inaugural conference demonstrated the intellectual strength, leadership capacity, and global ambition of Israel’s next generation of physicians.
